There’s a fine emotional line you walk as a nurse. You want to take care of your residents or patients, but sometimes the hardest thing to do as a nurse is to hold their hand as they let go. You feel guilty, like you failed them when they pass away. But in reality, I guess, they lived their life and their time has come. In the end you know they’re not suffering and you did your best to make them comfortable and hold their hand for their last breath.
